UPDATES

What an honor! Earlier this year my good friend and fellow composer, Ivan Linn, and I were invited by NASA to collaborate on a very special project. We were to compose a piece of music for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. The music we composed ended up being used in the live coverage of the solar eclipse, as well as played for all the people who went down to Mazatlan, Mexico to see the eclipse. Ivan and I designed the piece with specific timings to match each stage of the eclipse, so the audience can get a combined visual and sonic experience of the total eclipse.

Below is a special behind-the-scenes documentary we filmed for NASA, explaining the creative process behind this piece of music. Please take a look! Big thanks to Ivan Linn and Dean Ludgate for making this happen, and special thanks to all the kind folks at the Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute of NASA for this incredible opportunity! Truly an honor!!
